There's a Party in My Tummy!

You know how I like to post about random things my kids see & do.

Yo Gabba Gabba is a new show and it's weird, crazy and fun. It's got a skinny host in a fuzzy orange hat and spandex, who carries around 5 monsters in his boom box.

Someone's seriously smoking something over there. It's geared towards toddlers, but with a tongue-in-cheek-i-ness that adults will laugh at.

Special guest include guests like Elijah Woods, Hector Jimenez (from 'Nacho Libre'), Mya, Biz Markee, Tony Hawk, who dance around and basically act like fools. And they have fun! The show received Emmy nominations in their first year! Yay for them.

Who can say no to songs like:

Don't Bite Your Friends?
It's Fun To Brush Your Teeth!
Try It, You'll Like It!
Wait Your Turn!

But my favorite? "There's a Party in My Tummy!"

Seriously. Does not get better than Brobee!

So imagine my surprise at the following. I'm in Hot Topic, because the expanse between by toddler and teen isn't quite enough to get me to drink. Jake and I are looking at all the shirts that I won't let him buy, (Sorry bub, skulls and yucky zombified things are not cool) when I see a "Don't Bite Your Friend's" vest. I ask the heavily tattooed but very nice and pretty sales lady if they have any bags. She points me to a black one with the characters in a car. I'm "Meh" about it. Then she says "Oh, I have one more over here." and I go "Squeeeeee!"

EDIT: Yes, Niki. The two pictures were take on my loft floor. Totally my bag!

Ooooh Kaaren - you're scaring me. And when that song is still bouncing around my head at 2 am - you're going to hear about it.

Erm... that monster eats his food whole? No chewing?!? Isn't that a bad message to be sending to young kids? ;)
