Fifth & Final Ornament: 2014 Buffyfest Ornament Swap

The final ornament comes from Jennifer in New Hampshire.  The awesomeness of this ornament cannot be contained.

We've got Xander, we've got his Snoopy Dance, we've got his eye-patch, we've got YELLOW CRAYONS.

"The first day of kindergarten, you cried because you broke the yellow crayon and you were too afraid to tell anyone. You've come pretty far; ending the world, not a terrifc notion, but the thing is, yeah. I love you. I loved crayon-breaky Willow, and I love scary, veiny Willow. So if I'm going out, it's here. You wanna kill the world, well then start with me. I've earned that."

Thanks Jennifer!

And that concludes another successful year! I can't even get all of the ornaments I have received in two shots.

Fourth Ornament: 2014 Buffyfest Ornament Swap

These came from Lea in Wisconsin and the box smelled so good upon opening.

The Browncoat badge made from something I want to eat but was warned against, and a Buffy Snowman cookie cutter.

Thanks Lea!

Twenty One!

How am I the parent of a 21-year-old male??

At midnight, the new day of December 21, our son Jacob turned 21!  David asked Jake earlier on the 20th, "Are you going at midnight to buy a drink?"  I hadn't even thought of that.

Here's his midnight shot of the purchase.

Mr. Bum-21 woke around..10 a.m? on the 21st and we proceeded to give him presents.  He asked for money basically for a trip in January, but we did get him something else too.

So lazy. he didn't even want to get up to blow out the candles.

"Oooooooh!"  He just got our $100 gift.

Opening up our other gift.

The new Swans album on vinyl "To Be Kind."

Chocolate Ganache cake from Publix

That day, Jacob went to his dad's side of the family for their Christmas party. He got some more money and then came home and asked "Mom, can we go to Wal-Mart?"

Why? Because he wanted to go to their separate liquor store with me,

I chanted to the cashier "CARD HIM! CARD HIM! CARD HIM!"  She saw the date and said "Awww, Happy Birthday!"

Happy 21st Birthday Jacob!

October Nails

Lovely new  polish from KB Shimmer "Jack."

Continuing to catalog my polishes

Design by "IHaveACupcake" on YouTube.

Using some stamp plates.

Another "IHaveACupcake" design.

Got new polishes for my birthday from my sister, so I had to throw them in randomly.

Halloween Design by "IHaveACupcake."

The last of the polishes and some nail stamping.

102 polishes as of October 31, not counting top coats, base coats and extra blacks and whites I have.  This number will change as I just got 4 mini bottles at a company Christmas party and I asked for more for Christmas.

Heidi sent this ornament she made from pages of a Buffy comic book.

Very nice.  Still trying to figure out how she did this.  Thanks, Heidi.

Ho Ho Bowl

It's that time again.  Time for the annual Company Christmas Party.

Now the "company" says "Holiday Party" but me being stubborn, I say "Christmas Party" on our local group's invitations.  Don't like it?  Then YOU plan it.  I'm planning it, it's a Christmas Party.

Where to this year?  Splitsville at Downtown Disney in Orlando.

I've been wanting to try this out and everyone was game to go, even though they'd have to pay some out-of-pocket, because this blew our budget out of the water.

Splitsville has casual dining and bowling lanes on two floors.  We were placed upstairs, Yay!

We had appetizers, dinner and lots of fun bowling.

David said "Act casual!"

My blingy light earrings.

I had sent an email out to all the wives and co-workers; "Who wants to have an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest?"    Five daring souls showed up ready to win.

The winner of the $25 Starbucks Gift Card!

We had a blast!
